Submitted on 2017-06-08 Review title of DeanIssues Saving. Awesome graphics, cool buildings. It's like building a virtual miniature world in your basement, zooming in and looking at all the little buildings, people, flow of cars. Truly awesome. HOWEVER, I've been having SERIOUS save issues.
It saves my worlds once or twice, then stops saving for unknown reasons. I'll spend a few hours building up my city in areas, perfecting the flow of traffic, try saving and it simply doesn't. It doesn't tell me I haven't saved, it just doesn't save! It seems like I have to have AutoSave on to even save, but even THAT eventually stops working. I just spent the last 4 hours building new districts, and all my efforts are gone. I'm so disappointed. All searching sends me to Steam solutions from 2 years ago, but I'm not running it from Steam, I purchased it from the Microsoft Store.
PLEASE FIX THE SAVE ISSUES! Or tell me where to contact the developers. Paradox is a confusing mess too. Submitted on 2018-01-25 Review title of LionelThis is pretty cool for win 10! This game is pretty good for getting it from the windows market. I would not be swayed from what all the other reviews say.
If you have in between the min/max requirements you are in good condition to run this game. The only bad part off this game is that it is a port version of the original that you download from steam.
However the same DLC content will eventually be made available similar to the original. I found hours of fun playing Cities. My favorite part was watching the City develop as you plan and build as well as riding 3rd person the train. When you purchase you get the base game along side the first DLC 'After Dark'.
This DLC allows you to experience the day and night cycle. The game does get more challenging at night then in the day. With the second DLC 'Snowfall' you get a new light rail transit and a Arctic themed map. It has Xbox controller support. I found this game better then Sim City. So if you like this review I do implore you to check out Cities: Skylines.
Submitted on 2018-07-19 Review title of RichardI'm having trouble with editions on different devices? I got Xbox version first; I liked it so I got Win 10 version on my PC. My controller died on Xbox so I plugged it in and 'press A to Continue' but it would not close the window('press A to continue') I could control the movement around the play area, behind the window, but nothing else would work. I went 'home' and quit the game. I restarted thinking I might lose some data but oh well, it is only a game. The game would not load.
It opened to loading screen but it would not finish. I uninstalled the game and tried to reinstall it. For some reason (I was in windows store on Xbox) just as I clicked Launch, after the download, I noticed that It now says Windows 10 Edition. Xbox said there was a problem, error code 0x87e1000a. So I can't see the Windows 10 version on my Xbox (because it isn't Xbox game or app) so I can't remove it if it is there. When I very purposely install Xbox edition, it downloads as an app, with no name options and won't run, paid for 2 Editions can't play Xbox.
